URvoice

URvoice is an alert based app that brings you surveys to vote on government bills and pieces of legislation with real time results to see what the majority of the people in the U.S. are in favor of so that our representatives can better help everyone. This app/alert would act much like an amber alert on phones or devices for a scheduled time when a new bill, executive order or piece of legislation is coming up for the people to vote on at the same time so congress can have real time results and statistics in seconds. I wanted to do something more than just a display project when I came up with the concept of this. I want to be able to help people, to create something meaningful, and to make a positive impact in a world that is hurting. Everyone should have a voice and the higher ups that represent the population and vote on our bills and legislation should hear the needs of the American people. Empathy goes a long way but action is needed to create useful change.

Linger Magazine

My project, Linger Magazine, is centered around the practice of slow living and its benefits. Slow living involves intentionality, mindfulness, gratitude and bringing more peace into everyday life. Our culture has such a fast paced mentality that we often forget to be in touch with ourselves, and the world around us. My magazine strives to be a bit of peace in our busy lives. I aim to bring awareness to people to remember to reconnect with who they are and their desires. Work should not be our everything. Friends, family, nature, love, animals, art, and anything that sparks passion and are what we should be truly involved in. We work to live, not live to work. As a new designer going into the field, I want to create things that bring people joy, and get them in touch with their whimsical side. I want to have fun as a designer and create things that I love. I am not sure where I will end up, but I have faith that it will be just where I was meant to be. Remember to have compassion and please; Slow down and stay awhile, with Linger Magazine.

Stickit

Hello! My name is Iris, and I’m a designer who loves creating things that help people feel more connected to themselves. My project, Stickit, is all about self-motivation and accountability in a way that feels personal, encouraging, and real. With Stickit, you can leave sticky notes, videos, or photos for your future self. Maybe it’s a pep talk, a reminder, or just a quick check-in. You choose when it shows up on your phone — like a little boost from past you, right when you need it. The app also helps you stay on track with check-ins: Did that reminder help? Did you take a step toward your goal today? You can build streaks, celebrate progress, and even invite a motivation buddy to keep each other going. I created Stickit because I believe some of the best motivation comes from within. We all have moments where we need a push, and sometimes, the most powerful words are the ones we say to ourselves. My hope is that Stickit becomes a small, meaningful part of someone’s everyday life — helping them stay grounded, focused, and kind to themselves along the way.

Worn

My name is Ali. I’m a graphic designer with a passion for illustration, brand identity, and logo design. My senior project, Worn, reimagines shopping for fine jewelry by sourcing high-quality secondhand pieces and creating an educational, welcoming shopping experience. By prioritizing transparency, inclusivity, and knowledge, Worn makes fine jewelry more approachable for a new generation. With illustration at the core of my design practice, I like to explore how visuals can evoke emotion and foster connection. I believe that good design should not only communicate but also bring a strong sense of storytelling to every project. Whether developing a brand identity or crafting a unique illustration, I strive to make my work both meaningful and inviting. Collaboration fuels my creativity, I enjoy being in team environments where ideas can be shared, challenged, and refined. Moving forward, I hope to join a studio where I can contribute to projects that merge strong visual identity with intentional, story-driven design. I'm committed to creating work that resonates with people and brings beauty and meaning to everyday life.

Murmur

Murmur, the keepsake collection. This project has been an emotional one for me. As I finish my senior year and enter into the “real” world, I have a lot of emotions. This project is a glimpse into the nostalgia and reflection I am feeling. It is a web and print-based brand that takes untold stories from everyday objects. All the stories are from my friends and family so it has been extra meaningful to create this. The site cultivates a community of people looking for a connection and a nostalgia trip. When reading others’ reflective stories, one can't help but compare their own life to those around them. That feeling, the empathy, is what I am pulling at in this project. This site allows the reader to sit with their raw emotions and lower their walls.

Savry

Savry is a mobile app designed to take the stress out of meal planning, budgeting, and grocery shopping. By helping users maximize what they already have in their kitchen, Savry transforms overlooked ingredients into delicious, budget-friendly meals. Users simply input what’s in their fridge or pantry, and the app generates personalized recipes based on their dietary preferences and budget. Savry also simplifies grocery shopping by generating organized lists and highlighting the best local deals on essential ingredients. As a designer, my goal is to create intuitive, visually appealing experiences that make everyday tasks simpler and more enjoyable. Savry is designed to simplify real-life challenges through technology, empowering users to make smarter, more sustainable choices with their food and finances. Through Savry, I hope to inspire a more mindful approach to cooking, shopping, and reducing food waste—one meal at a time. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in graphic or UX design, where I can continue creating impactful, user-centered experiences that solve real-world problems.

Voix

With a driving passion for design, I enjoy crafting bold visual brand identities and ad campaigns that authentically communicate stories, foster meaningful connections, and ignite action. My diverse background, encompassing over three years of freelance work with non-profit organizations, hands-on pre-press packaging experience at OEC Graphics, and the creation of multi-platform marketing campaigns at UW-Stout, has equipped me with a versatile toolbox. I'm really excited to continue growing and learning alongside experienced designers, I'm excited to share my perspective and embrace ongoing evolution in my design journey.

Flutter

Flutter is a subscription box service that sells an assortment of food & beverage products (non-perishables, snacks, instant beverages, spices, condiments, etc) from businesses that are immigrant-owned. The service supports Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients and believes that no human is illegal on stolen land. Flutter aligns itself with the butterfly because butterflies are widely known as symbols of peaceful and natural migration. Butterflies do not obey borders. The monarch butterfly has become a symbol of the Dreamers, or undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children, representing their resilience and the right to move freely, similar to the butterfly’s migration. Much like immigrants, butterflies generally mind their own business, cause no harm, and benefit society, but because of reasons in which they cannot control, people have an irrational fear of them. Flutter deliberately supports the DACA immigration policy for this reason. Flutter aims to support the immigrant community by amplifying their voices and helping them build wealth and prosperity. Flutter represents borderless dreams. As a designer I enjoy storytelling and creating a narrative with everything that I create. As a person I believe that immigrants make America great, and that their stories deserve to be told.

Squiggle

The intention behind Squiggle was to design a writing resource that is tailored to neurodivergent writers. Neurodivergent refers to individuals whose brains function differently than what is considered “typical.” It encompasses conditions such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, though it is not limited to those. Many neurodivergent people gravitate towards writing but can struggle to be successful at it. Perfectionism, time management, rejection sensitivity, and burnout are all major challenges. The practices of traditional writer’s workshops don’t always support them. Not everyone has the ability to match a certain writing pace or follow scheduled writing practices. Since struggles are specific to each person, a variety of services are offered for users to engage with what they need. Squiggle’s services include workshops that have been designed with neurodivergent identities and topics in mind, writing swaps between peers or with an instructor, articles on relevant topics (such as how to revise or how to reach out to agents), and a publication of examples and prompts for inspiration. By having the necessary tools and knowledge, writers can create their own narrative of what it means to be neurodivergent and push back against public stigma.

Skylark

Skylark is a bird identification app and publication working to teach others about birds. Using a free app with access to knowledge about birds around the world, or a handy travel sized print book for on-the-go folks who prefer a physical article. We aim to spread awareness about our avian neighbors. We want people to rediscover the beauty of the outdoors and the creatures that live all around us that we may not pay attention to. With Skylark, it's easier than ever to identify birds with the tap of a finger or the flip of the page. Folks can support their locals with nest boxes and raptor platforms made from ethically sourced wood, where their purchases go to supporting bird conservation programs around the world. Skylark also collaborates with youth groups like Girl Scouts, bringing hands-on, fun experiences to kids. Teaching future generations about our feathered friends. Birdwatching can lead to an array of mental health benefits, including long lasting stress relief. It's our hope that free access to Bird ID Knowledge encourages people to get outdoors and breathe a breath of fresh air, and maybe give our natural world a helping hand in return. It's my hope to spread my passion about earth's birds to others through design, and inspire others to share their passions! Nature is a beautiful place if you slow to observe it. It can be as simple as watching sparrows build a nest outside your window, going out to a trail with a list of birds you hope to see, or spotting an unfamiliar hawk on vacation. bird watching is for everyone to enjoy!

Duffit

Duffit is an activity box that helps support military families and veterans reconnect to civilian life and normalcy with fun projects that can be done together or apart. Growing up my dad was deployed five times throughout my childhood and being in a military family I always found it hard to connect with my dad while he was deployed or simply away from home, I wanted to make something that could help families in the future stay connected to each-other while being apart from one another. The name “Duffit” is a merger of A full kit and duffle bag, in your first box you will get your own small duffle bag to keep your projects in until your family member comes home. This product is simply that, A full kit of connection. Bringing families closer in extremely stressful times.

Ky's Kards

Ky’s Kards is a passion project rooted in my family’s mission to create meaningful employment for my brother, Kyle, who has Down Syndrome, and others with different abilities. When we first launched back in 2020, I hadn’t started college yet, so rebranding it became a meaningful design challenge for me. Each card features a subtle nod to Down Syndrome—whether it’s inspired by Trisomy 21, Kyle’s pets, or even his unique fingerprint. Every detail is intentional, reflecting the heart behind our mission. This project has shown me that design is more than aesthetics—it has the power to uplift, connect, and create opportunity. I hope Ky’s Kards inspires you to spread encouragement and serves as a reminder that everyone, regardless of ability, deserves dignity and a place to shine.

Hobly

Hobly is a social connection app designed to spark deeper friendships and create new ones through shared hobbies and interactive challenges. The goal is to help people connect more meaningfully by bonding over mutual interests. Users can sign up, choose hobbies they enjoy or want to try, and take part in monthly hobby challenges—either solo or with friends. Each challenge includes fun daily and weekly quests that encourage users to explore their interests while getting to know their fellow participants, fostering genuine connection through playful, purposeful interaction. As a designer, I’m passionate about creating work that tells a story, invites creativity, and most importantly, brings people together. I approach design with empathy, always thinking about the individuals who will use the product and how it can make even a small impact in their day. My goal is to continue growing—not just in my craft, but in my ability to create meaningful, human-centered experiences that connect people to each other and to the things they love.

Near & Dear

Near & Dear is a mentorship program built on emotional connection, designed for individuals who lack family support but long for the warmth of intergenerational relationships. Whether it’s sharing a home-cooked meal, receiving life advice, or simply enjoying a heartfelt conversation, participants are matched based on their specific needs. The experience is mutual; each person has something to offer, creating a meaningful exchange rather than a one-sided mentorship. To close the interaction, participants send personalized thank-you messages, which are printed and mailed as a tangible reminder of their connection. At my core, I design to make people feel valued. Whether I’m creating a brand, an experience, or a campaign, my goal is always to foster connection and belonging. I believe thoughtful design has the power to make people feel seen, and I approach every project with that in mind. My work often blends personal storytelling with community-focused impact, ensuring that design isn’t just functional but also deeply meaningful. Near & Dear reflects this approach, using design to create spaces where people can find comfort, support, and a sense of home.

untangle

I believe that great design should be accessible to everyone. As a designer, my goal is to help shape a future that is built for all, fueled by my passion for inclusivity and accessibility. This led to the creation of untangle, a self-care hygiene brand aiming to make the self-care space more accessible for neurodivergent people. By providing tailored strategies and inclusive products, my brand aims to make daily self-care easier and more manageable for those who face sensory issues, executive dysfunction, and other obstacles.  untangle offers a range of sensory-friendly products designed to enhance comfort and well-being. Crimson

Crimson aims to make menstruation kinder to everyone. Through localized matched donations chosen by our consumers, Crimson’s zero waste menstrual products aims to directly impact period poverty levels while lowering the amount of menstrual related waste. I wanted the branding to feel approachable, as a lot of people can feel intimidated by reusable menstrual products. They can be interpreted as gross, scary, unsanitary, or all the above. With the humanist typeface, the soft colors, and the natural energy, Crimson will stand out on the shelves and break the stereotypes around reusable menstrual products. Within each product box, there will be an informational card that teaches the user how to easily use the product with kind and inclusive language, furthering the approachability. As someone who has struggled with a lot of things surrounding menstruation, I know how far a kind menstrual product can go. Being able to fully direct and design a project I am so passionate about is the perfect way to transition out of school and into my career. Creating designs that can have a positive impact on someone’s daily life is all I want to do, and this project was an amazing glimpse into my future’s possibilities.

Aptitude

Hi, my name is Faith! As a designer, I draw inspiration from diving into niche interests that I love and admire. I strive to create art and explore concepts that are distinct, exciting, and leave a lasting impact. My goal is to highlight often overlooked topics through design activism while combining ideas and aesthetics in a way that is creative and memorable. My senior project, Aptitude, came together when I set out to explore the issue of accessibility. There is still much to be done in raising awareness, oCering support, and fostering appreciation for the disability community. By partnering with the Accessible Icon Project, I want to express that a more accessible world is not only possible but urgently needed. I aim to design fun, stylish wheelchair accessories that celebrate a community often overlooked, particularly within the alternative fashion scene. It can be isolating to feel out of place because of your appearance or the way you express yourself. Its challenging to navigate a world where spaces aren’t open, inclusive, or designed for everyone. With Aptitude, I look to celebrate what makes us unique and encourage personal style to take up space loudly and unapologetically. Bold, expressive wheelchair accessories are just the beginning of creating a more accepting, empathetic, and diverse world.

The Mexico City Golden Eagles

The Mexico City Golden Eagles NBA expansion team was born from a vision to bridge cultures, celebrate heritage, and globalize the game of basketball. As the first full-time NBA franchise based in Latin America, the Golden Eagles represent more than just a team—they embody the bold spirit, rich history, and dynamic energy of Mexico City. Latin America’s love for basketball has steadily grown, with thriving local leagues, passionate fans, and sold-out NBA Global Games. Establishing a team here is a natural step in the NBA’s global expansion, offering a fresh market while honoring a deep, untapped well of talent and enthusiasm. The Golden Eagles aim to inspire future generations across Latin America, with part-Latin heritage players, owners, and workers. The graphic and brand identity of the team is aimed to stand out from the other teams (while abiding to NBA guildelines) and represent Mexico City with passion. Covering all aspects of the game, from social media, to tickets, and even jersey and court designs. This project has enhanced my branding skills and will help boost my sports designing skills as a whole.

UnBreak

Few things are more frustrating than a broken product, yet repair costs often feel prohibitive and DIY fixes can seem overwhelming. Traditional troubleshooting forces users to sift through endless forum threads, and the complexity of some items makes diagnosing problems—let alone following repair guides—a challenge. UnBreak is an open-source, community-powered platform that mends these issues, harnessing AI and augmented reality to simplify repairs. Through Anew, a personalized AI assistant trained on thousands of products, users receive real-time troubleshooting and step-by-step AR guidance tailored to their device. Collaborate with fellow fixers to publish repair tutorials, advocate for the Right to Repair movement, and collectively build the UnBreak Repairability Index—a growing database that challenges the throwaway culture of planned obsolescence by rating products on fixability and sustainable design. UnBreak isn’t just about saving money or gadgets; it’s a culture that empowers users, reduces e-waste, and reshapes how we interact with everyday items to build a more restorative future. As a designer, I seek to uncover the deeper influences shaping our world and refine my craft to inspire sincere, human-centered change. Through thoughtful design, I aim to illuminate opportunities and promote understanding that resonates with others.

The Restoration Project

The Restoration Project is a social awareness campaign that aims to combat loneliness among individuals experiencing poverty and homelessness by restoring human dignity through personal connection. The initiative addresses the often overlooked emotional and relational needs that contribute to the poverty of loneliness in our society. The Restoration Project responds through a simple yet profound act: writing letters of encouragement to the most vulnerable and isolated in our communities. This pen pal service fosters empathy and connection through meaningful relationships. Through thoughtfully designed stationery, an intuitive and accessible website, and emotionally resonant campaign materials, the project invites communities to pause, engage, and participate in simple acts of hope. As a designer, I believe creativity carries both responsibility and opportunity. Good design should meet people where they are, speak to their humanity, and spark meaningful interaction. With The Restoration Project, I aim to demonstrate how small, intentional gestures can ignite larger cultural shifts. Moving forward, I aspire to create work that uplifts, connects, and restores—design that leaves people seen, valued, and hopeful.

Altr is a brand built around the idea of mentorship and connection. Frogged

As a designer, I’m passionate about creating solutions that are both beautiful and sustainable. My project, Frogged, is a recycled yarn subscription box designed for knitters, crocheters, and fiber artists who want to craft more sustainably. Each box contains high-quality yarn that has been repurposed from discarded textiles, giving new life to materials that might otherwise go to waste. The name Frogged comes from a term in the fiber arts community—when a project doesn’t go as planned, you “frog” it, unraveling the stitches to start fresh. This idea of transformation is at the heart of my design philosophy. I believe sustainability should be an invitation to create, not a limitation. Through thoughtful branding, packaging, and a digital experience that connects makers, I want to make sustainability feel exciting and accessible. My goal as a designer is to challenge how we think about waste in creative industries. I want to merge aesthetics with environmental responsibility, proving that reused materials can be just as beautiful—if not more so—than new ones. With Frogged, I hope to inspire a shift in how we consume, create, and appreciate the stories behind the materials we use.

Youra

Youra is a personalized multivitamin service designed to make wellness more accessible, especially for people who are often left out of the health conversation. By using real health data like blood samples, Youra creates custom formulas that support individual needs—because feeling your best shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all. The brand is built around simplicity, energy, and personalization, with an earthy, grounded visual identity that reflects care and clarity. As a designer, I was drawn to the challenge of creating something that felt both personal and universal—wellness that’s not just aspirational, but approachable. My goal was to design a brand that invites people in, no matter their background, and encourages them to take ownership of their health. From the packaging system to the tone of voice, every part of Youra is meant to feel human, warm, and trustworthy. This project allowed me to blend strategy, storytelling, and design in a way that felt meaningful. I’m passionate about creating experiences that not only look good, but also serve a purpose—and Youra became the perfect way to explore that balance.
